What better way to start the day than with a good protein breakfast! Have you ever tried bowlcake?

After the pancakes, seen and seen again, here is an original recipe to make. It's quick to make, in less than 5 minutes, it's a small puffed cake cooked in a bowl in the microwave which gives it its name "bowl cake".

Bowl cake: a breakfast idea in less than 5 minutes

This simple recipe can be made in a million different ways: With fresh fruit, with oatmealThe possibilities are endless as long as it is high in protein (for bodybuilders or athletes who are careful about their diet) and good for your health. The bowl cake is therefore both a healthy recipe but also a quick and easy gourmet recipe without flour or milk (possibly vegetable milk), ideal for those who are lactose intolerant.

This is an ideal protein breakfast for people who don't have time in the morning and above all, you don't have to worry about which ingredients to put first....

Homemade bowl cake

The main ingredients used will be :

  • Egg whites,
  • oatmeal or oat powder,
  • whey protein,
  • slivered almonds,
  • a teaspoon of baking powder and some spices like cinnamon or orange blossom.

You can also add goji berries, raisins and almond powder, flaxseedA crushed or chopped banana or other fruits and berries (blueberries and berries). The possibilities are endless!
